Einsatzbeispiele
  • In rivet and cold heading wire and rod product form and temper T4 used in automotive application (mechanical fasteners).
  • Intended for use when a high strength is required, and when poor resistance to corrosion can be tolerated. This tubing is not applicable for use in transferring hydraulic/pneumatic mediums.
  • Intended for use where high strength is required and no welding is involved. Tempers T351 and T4 should not be used where optimum corrosion resistance is required. Tempers T62, T72 and T851 should be specified when optimum resistance to stress corrosion is required. The T351 and T851 tempers are intended primarily to provide material with low residual stresses and consequent minimum distortion during machining.
  • Intended for use where high strength is required and welding is not involved. Tempers T6 and T851 should be specified when optimum resistance to stress corrosion is required.
  • Parts requiring good strength and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • Primarily used for parts requiring higher yield strength than is afforded by the common tempers of this alloy, and whose fabrication does not involve welding.
  • These extrusions have been used typically for machined parts requiring dimensional stability during machining processes, with high strength and damage tolerance, but usage is not limited to such applications. This product maintains fine unrecrystallised peripheral grain even though significant cold work precedes the solution heat treatment.
  • These extrusions have been used typically for parts subject to excessive warpage during machining due to residual stresses and for parts requiring high strength and whose fabrication does not normally involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products are used primarily for structural parts requiring good strength. These products, when re-heat treated by the user, may not have the tensile properties shown.
  • These products have been used typically for formed structural parts which will be subsequently heat treated, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for high strength parts requiring higher yield strength than is afforded by naturally aged tempers of this alloy and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for medium strength parts requiring formability and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for parts requiring good strength and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength and whose fabrication does not involve welding or forming, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for parts requiring higher yield strength than is afforded by naturally aged tempers of this alloy and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for structural parts requiring a combination of high strength and good corrosion resistance and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • These products have been used typically for structural parts requiring formability, a combination of good strength and good corrosion resistance and whose fabrication does not involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • This sheet has been used typically for formed structural parts of good strength, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • This sheet has been used typically for severely-formed structural parts which will be subsequently heat treated and painted or otherwise protected from corrosion, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • This tubing has been used typically for parts operating under high pressure, such as hydraulic systems, fuel lines, and oil lines, where high quality and high strength are required, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • This tubing has been used typically for parts requiring a high-strength alloy and parts not welded, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • Used primarily for joining aluminum alloys where a high attainable strength in riveted joints is required.
  • Used typically for formed structural parts of good strength. Plate is also suitable for structural machined parts where warpage, during machining, due to residual stresses must be minimized, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • Used typically for formed structural parts of moderate strength, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • Used typically for parts requiring a high-strength, non-weldable alloy. Parts are usually solution heat treated and aged before use, but usage is not limited to such applications.
  • Used typically for parts subject to excessive warpage during machining due to residual stresses and for parts requiring high strength and whose fabrication does not normally involve welding.
  • Used typically for parts subject to excessive warpage during machining, and for parts requiring high strength and whose fabrication does not normally involve welding, but usage is not limited to such applications.
