VDI 2200 - Tight flange connections - Selection, calculation, design and assembly of bolted flange connections

This VDI guideline pursues the goal of analyzing and classifying the conditions applicable to sealing connections on the basis of the state of technical development reached, as well as supplementing them with the aid of new research results and providing the user with instructions for the selection, layout, design and assembly of flange connections, with special consideration of the sealing elements. The VDI 2200 guideline therefore comprises: an overview, systematization and supplementation of existing standards and regulations to be taken into account; selection and calculation procedures for flanges, bolts and gaskets; information on the installation of flanged joints for pipelines and vessels.
